Hi there,...This type of machine uses capacitive sensor which is stick on to the inside of the machine. Some new machines do have problem like this.. the sensor came off from the wall. Only way is to open the machine and reglue it back to the wall.
All the best.
Need to prime the machine. The new water filter is causing the air lock in the system.Remove the filter and startup the machine it should prime by itself, when it's ready, fit the filter back and press hot water until the water flows steady. Hope it helps.
Hi If there is water on top of the machine when you remove the water tank, this is whats happening. There is a seal on top of the machine under the water tank. To get to it, remove the water tank, and set aside. There is a large doughnut shaped cap on top of the machine. Slip a screwdriver on the outside edge of the cap and pry up gently. When it snaps up, go to the other side of the cap and do the same. There is a black seal in the center and if you stick your finger in the center and it lifts out it need to be replaced. Clean any residue inside the opening with a Q-tip. When you get the new seal, it won’t slip in. Insert it at a slight angle (double lips down), then take your finger nail and run it around the bottom edge of the seal until it slips in, then push down. Snap the cap back on and your set to go.
sounds like air got in the water lines. Try turning off the machine and making sure the tank is seated good. at menu try an get hot water to get the pump flowing again. you may hear a loud "eh-eh-eh" buzz which means air is in the pump. It will quiet down as the air is forced out. try it several times. Hopefully you get it working. Just remember not to run the tank completely dry.
I rang Saeco service centre about my leaking water tank and they posted me a new tank - no questions or need to return the faulty item. I believe there may be a bad batch of tanks which leak because of faulty valves.
Gently remove tank the slide it back in place make sure the back of tank makes good contact with the machine when it is being lowered so that the reed switch can read the magnet in the tank.
MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SHUT DOWN YOUR ESPRESSO MACHINE WHILE IN THIS MODE OR IT WILL INTERRUPT THE CYCLE. BE SURE TO CAREFULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT THE MACHINE IS ASKING FOR AND USING THE MANUAL MAY HELP YOU WITH THIS PROBLEM. WE HAVE NOT SEEN ANY OF THE PROBLEM YOU ARE SUGGESTING, BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A FIRST. IF YOU NEED SUPPORT AND YOUR MACHINE IS LESS THAN 1 YEAR OLD CONTACT SAECO AT 800-933-7876.
