Check with fresh batteries.. Did you sync the mouse with transciever? Push tiny button on transceiver, (maybe hold for few seconds) light flashes quickly.. then push tiny button under the mouse, light stops flashing. Try few times, maybe otherway round. If still not work consider defective.
Try to take off battery and next push and hold down the small button that protrudes where the receiver is placed in the mouse, put back battery and simultaneusly release the button,it might make the mouse operate correctly.
Good luck!!!!
Chawah.
My Dell wireless keyboard doesn't work. I replaced the batteries in it and pressed the green button on the back of it then the button on the wireless thing plugged into the computer. That light blinks for a few seconds then stops but the keyboard still doesn't work. My wireless mouse works fine.
Logitech cordless devices are designed to always achieve at least 4 feet of good signal. Generally speaking, if you ahve the green light on the connect unit and the batteries are good on your actual mouse then it should work when you perform the synchronization procedure in the manual.
If it is still not working after you re-perform that you should consider relocating your laptop to try again from another environment (any electronic or electrical devices like zip drives, cd drives, etc can cause interferance). try it on a non metallic surface and if possible even try elevating the connect unit a few inches.
If it's still not working, uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your mouse and try again. If after all that it is still not working it's probably a hardware problem and you should contact logitech support for a possible warranty item replacement.
