My car has a computer box problem, it does not start, where and how can i fix it, took it 2 times to isuzu dealers in windhoek, namibia, but still it keeps on stucking in the middle of the road.. do you think its electrical problems..

Whomever 'he' is, the one that hooked up the battery the wrong way, will have done all sorts of damage to the electronic modules and in particular the Engine Control Module (none start) and the Body Control Module (wipers). Your car ideally needs 13.2 volts to start. You need an auto electrician with a $5,000 scan tool computer to diagnose the electrical damage and fix. Get the fuel gauge fixed at the same time.

no parts either,
now to answer in the generic form.
1: those numbers matter. on that label.
the ECU will need to match 2 things, (or more)
1: the engine.
2: the transmission for sure if automatic shifted.
3: body. of car, may be important like 4wd, ABS< Air bags and other features.
4: and not only all that, needs reprogramming to all the above.

I'd go to a ISUZU dealer and ask them.

The door skin needs to be removed you will need 1/4" drive ratchet, extensions, metric box end wrenches, a long needle nose pliers, screw drivers,a pro pick set and some mechanical ability, verify the linkage is intact, if it is you probably have a broken handle, if the outer handle is broke E-Bay has them new and used or you can go the dealer route. the time to repair is usually 1 to 2 hours. The trans may need to be diassembled to fix. Manual transmissions dont have filters.

im a tech in the bronx and i dealt with the same code for the misfire. burt i realized that there wasnt any power to the coil of #2 cylinder. I replaced the sensor mounted on top of the air filter box, which solved this problem.

it's the EGR valve and can be fixed by anyone. It involves disconnecting the battery, remove electrical connection, and removing 2 screws and cleaning the surface area well and replacing it as well as the gasket. A new EGR valve runs around $120 and trust me you can fix this and save hundreds!

Bad switch #2

if you turn the key and nothing happens chances are that the starter is going out. I have a 98 also. Here is the problem there becomes a couple of bad spots on the starter and that is when it doesn't do anything. If you change it your self be prepaired to get really dirty. You must remove the exaust pipe comming from the manifold and if you can take off the bolts at your first union joint on the exaust great. If not you have to cut the bolts and then the starter will come right out and the new one goes in very easy. If you take it to a dealer you could also have them check the relay also.

Are there any Isuzu dealers in America anymore? I thought they all left. If you have one still, go to it.

has he tried to replace the b4 servo cover and the seloniods volvo has a lot of problems with those and they have computer reprograms also
