How to fix the drive cable

Hi, Unless you really know what your doing in gears best take it to garage should not be an expensive fix, just the gear box fork is not catching correctly. Hope this helps give me feedback please. Thanks, Malcolm Campbell.

Hello, please try the following:
1. Try changing your drives usb cable 2. Run a disk check on your drive to fix any errors. If the problem remains then its a sure sign your drive is about to fail, backup or recover your data quickly using drive recovery software.

Try changing your USB cable you are using to connect the External drive.. It may be that the usb cable is not good and thus the Drive is making beeping sound..

1. Unplug both the power cord and USB cable from the external Seagate hard drive.
2. Restart your computer
3. Plug back in both the power cord and USB cable from the external Seagate hard drive.

Comment back if this doesn't fix the issue.

1. Please check your harddisk with any other computer.
2. If not working, then please change the power adaptor and try again connecting to your system.
3. Try changing the data cable as well and check
4. If still your problem not solved, then please consult the vendor from whom you purchased the product for claiming warranty (if applicable)

check the linkage from gearstick to gearbox .if ok .check and change transmission fluid

plz open your cabinet and check the power cable and data cable, plz try with another power cable and with another data cable, if the problem is not solved then you have to change your dvd drive

create partiion and format hard drive.
