Portable I want to put the music on the portable YP-U3, and the computer doenst recognize it. How do I put the music on the YP? I tried so long and nothing works. Please would you help me? Thanks, Anita

    I've got the same issue. The YP-U3 lights come on while it is in the usb port, and an icon is present on my taskbar. The icon says, "Device driver software was not successfully installed." I am running Windows Vista. I can not access the player and can not figure out how to put music files on it.

    I was wondering where you can download the music. When I used Limewire the music didn't show up on the mp3. Can you please help me?

    Yep - exactrly the same. Have tried it on two PC's - one running XP and one running Vista. Help... very upset 8 year old can't use her christmas present.... :-(

Hi Guys,

Downloaded Microsoft Media Player version 11 and installed.
I recall somebody mentioning this somewhere. Now when I go to device manager and select update driver the YP-U3 device driver is found automatically.
Also downloaded other software from Samsung website.

Go to this website and download Multi Media Studio.
Install the program on your computer and open it, then plug in your YP-U3 and it should recognize your player and then you can download music, pictures,etc to your player.

Hi
You can try to format the mp3 player.
Go through: Setting>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk management>
Try to format it with fat files system.

hello sir go to my computer> properties>hardware > device manager >universal bus driver>right click on it> update driver>
then1 
1.yes this time only> next 2.choose advanced option>next 3don't search i"ll update from........>next4.click on show campatible> next> next 5. now it updated then restart you computer

it depends on the computer if your using a portable computer macs seem to not be able to recognize them but my dads pc can recognize it. good luck

NEED HELP
Take out the USB from the MP3 Player. Connect it to your Computer. Go to "My Computer" and go to where it says "Portable Devices". Under where it says, "Samsung YP-U3". Double Click and Double Click "Samsung Flash Media". Double Click "Music". And put MP3 Songs, to the folder. Now it's ready to listen to it.
