The most amount of heat I can get out of it is 64. And the thrmostate goes to 90.
Because it's not a heater. Don't ask me why the thermostat goes to 90, probably because it's an import from a country with no quality control. But I haven't found any supporting literature that says it operates in anything more than cooling mode. You can split the case and see if there's a crossover valve (where three lines go into a sideways cylinder with a solenoid on one end) near the compressor which means it's a heat pump or if there's an electric heating element near the evaporator which means it's standard heating. If so, then get back to me, but if not, you only have an air conditioner.

I am outside of warranty (by about 45 months) but I have the exact same problem as the first person -- my ACP-1600H unit, from Air and Water, does not get any warmer than about the mid-50s in degrees. I suspect that there was a flaw in the heating component of this model, which is probably why it's been discontinued. It's definitely supposed to be a heater, but it's not heating.
Can anybody help? Thanks: [email protected]
