ASKO DRYER T700, DRUM IS MAKING BANGING SOUND AS IT SPINS.

Hi.

The loud banging noise in the spin part of the cycle is usually caused by bad drum bearings. The repair is carried replacing the bearing at the back of the drum. Such kind of replacement is carried disassembling most of the appliance to reach the back of the tub. If you have not done similar repairs before it may be better to call a technician ringing the Asko support number listed on the owners manual.

Regards.

hey to get the belt on the asko dryer you need to take all the screws out of the back of the dryer back plated dont worry you can do this take the top plate off 2 then remove the cap from the optional side vent pipe if applicable lay dryer on to the front side down position lift the back plat a littlew say 5 inches reach in and take the vent plastic manifiold out by pulling it right an inch or so then pull it toward you (back ) when you get it out you can see the motor wih the belt idler pintle (axle) if your belt idler has fallen loose locate it and or remove it temporarily figger out hay the idler fits to the belt onto the motor houseing (unit) pull belt off the drum towards you remove between the space between the back plate and dryer drum to preplace instale in reverse order note 1 wire you will need to reach into the bak at top to reatrtache the plastic clip so you can screw it up to keep it from rubbing ect and good luck

Seems like you need new drum rollers. If one(or both) is bad, the drum will rub in the plastic.
