Its a tiny 42'' plasma tv which was working perfectly until my grandaughter dropped the remote control and the tv went off and now wont switch on even though the stand by light is on.It wont even turn on manually by pressing the channel button on the tv itself thanx

first i would replace the batteries. then set the remote to tv by pushing on tv,then point the remote at the tv and push power. this should turn on the set,as for any other change you may push on menu till you come to setup and make any changes from there.

The tv was working fine until this morning, then the picture went out but the sound is still working.
TV is only 3 years old, no real electrical problems

Try website like Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner board for the replacement.

I hope that you have gotten this resolved, but if not, or if you have any other questions, here are the codes and some simple steps to run through.


1. Hold down the clear TV button until all lights light up at the top of the remote
2. Punch in a 3 digit code (provided below)
3. Press the # (POUND) button
4. Try powering the tv on/off, and the volume. If one or more of these functions do not work, start over from step 1 with a different code

i have a plasma tv (china brand) when i start the TV the remote control for other devices are not working, only working if the remote is too close to the sevices or by reducing the brightness to its minimum level (zero level..no brightnesss)

i need help strange fault

i had the same problem and i bought the new remote control and it did work at first i thought it was going to do the same thing but then i pushed the tv/use button and it worked perfectly.

couple of ideas ... on the TV look for the button named input you can change it to the one you cave connected to there .. I am looking up the remote press the TV button then the menu button to move through the on screen input control

Buy a universal remote & program it for your TV. That's what I had to do. They don't cost that much & they are just as good, if not better (more features) than the remote that came with your tv. Sorry but I went thru this & this was the best solution!
