I can't access my Gateway Built In Webcam Toolbar

navigate to that webpage and at the bottom of the page youll find he driver for the webcam, try reinstalling it and seeing that works.

1 Uninstalling and reinstalling webcam drivers
2 Uninstalling and reinstalling webcam software
3 Removing any spyware, adware, malware, or viruses

go to 'Control Panel', 'Sound', 'Recording', and select your Logitech as the default device.

I suspect the webcam toolbar program is not gone, just not obvious as to where it is.

Go to Start > All Programs and scan down the list for a folder relating to your webcam. In it will be something similar to Webcam Console or Webcam manager. It may be in a Gateway folder. Once found, Click on the program and you should have your toolbar back.

If you want a short-cut for it on your desktop, when you find it in All Programs, right click on it and choose Send To and choose Desktop.

Uninstall the webcam software
Unplug the webcam
Restart computer
Visit logitech Website, identify your cam and download the software

When software has downloaded launch the Logitech toolbar and run through the options from top to bottom

You do not say what option is missing - video effects ? click on the 2 theatre masks on the toolbar to access them

Launch the logitech toolbar - make sure no video effects are selected (2 theatre masks on toolbar)
Open 'settings (2 cogs on toolbar) try and tune the picture.

If unsuccesful
Disconnect webcam
Uninstall software
Restart computer
Go to Logitech site and identify your webcam
Download software - connect webcam when prompted

You may need to reinstall a driver for it, search on the providers website, maybe they have some tips on what to reinstal.

Try to uninstall and reinstall the webcam

reinstall your webcam and sound driver, also reinstall yahoo messenger toolbar and put a yahoo as your default messenger

this will resolve your problem

You need to click on [Start] then click on [My Computer] and then [Acer Crystal Eye Webcam] will show up then click on the [Camera]. If this does not work then it could be that the cam driver needs reinstalling or maybe faulty. Take it back to your dealer!
