We have just moved our phone system to a new location and have been trying to change the Main voice message that you get when we are not open.
I've looked everywhere for then instruction books but can't find them.
do you know what I have to do to change out the old message and put on a new one ?
Thank you very much for your time

Hello,
Voice Mail systems are generally provided by your telephone service provider. Unless you have your own in-house system. So, I'd contact them to find-out how to change the primary number greeting. This is usually a primary mailbox that you need to login to, separate from your own personal number.
Happy Holidays.
MFurrer, thanks for getting back to me..I'm sure you have better things to do on this day !
Yes, when you dial in It does say that..although when I was trying to record a message .... I could only do a ( Personal Message) that you put on your own phone. I'm trying to change the main one you get when you call and we are out.
We had to lay off some people and the ones that left were the ones who always did the messages.
Thanks for all your help !!!!! Have a happy Holiday !!!
Which voicemail do you have?
If you dial in to check messages, it will say"welcome to partner voice messaging" or something to that effect.
Instructions differ depending on the voicemail.
Ok. well if it says welcome to Partner voice messaging:
then when you dial voicemail and it prompts for a mailbox.
press 0. the password will be 1234. then option 3 (i believe) will be to re-record the AA menu prompt.
IF it says welcome to Partner Messaging:
mailbox 0 #
pswd: 123456# (default pswd, if wrong, need to call someone thats a pro)
press 9 (will not prompt you)
press 3 for AA
press 1 for AA 1
press 1 for day menu or 2 for night menu.
press6 to modify
when prompted for selector codes, press * #
record here.
make sure you save it.
If the passwords are wrong (as I listed them) let me know, someone will have to reset...
