Mine isn't working either, have you tried your speeds? I messed with mine and found out only the 78 speed works.

TEAC GF-350 Power goes on. Press PHONO to record 45 rpm. RECORD button does not light up when pressed. The CD-R comes out blank. The screen shows: NO TOC CD-R. What does that mean?

Useful Information About Your CD-R or CD-RW :
• TOC means Table of Contents and it tells you whether or not your CD has data already on it. If your CD is blank it should have No Table of Contents (No TOC). If a CD has data on it, it will show the number of tracks as well as the amount of time recorded on it.

• If a CD is NOT finalized you can use it and add more tracks . If it is finalized you will not be able to modify it, meaning you will not be able to add anymore tracks.

• Please note that even though you can use a CD-RW, some machines may have problems with it.

Reviews on your TEAC are not good.

However, I think pressing 'PHONO' has to be done twice according to page 12 and 20 of the manual. Then read onwards in the manual.

I have a BSR McDonald 6500 turntable but I dont know how to hook it up so sound comes out of the speakers. there doesn't seem to be enough wires.

Connect weaker wires between speakers and receiver. Positive to positive and negative to negative for best sound.
Connect turn table RCA jacks to receiver PHONO input, L & R.
Connect devices to power and set receiver to PHONO, go.

How do I turn my turn table on. POWER button is on. What other button do I push. I have phono, mono/st, cd, tape, tuner??

Phono button is turntable selector. May be the turntable switches on when you move the arm to the edge of the record.

HELP: Stopped spinning

It's likely the belt has slipped of and probably needs replacing. You can do this yourself. It will be found under the turntable matt. The trick though is fitting it back on. But you might find the instructions on-line (enter the model number into google search). Some people have even put YouTube video's on how to replace the belt on popular turntables.

Can I connect a tape deck *and* a turntable to the Sony STR-DE595?

If your turn table has a magnetic cartridge it will not work,Becuase the ner recievers are not equip with a phono preamp, They are equip to only use a crystal or ceramic cartridge in the turn table.

I HAVE PHILIPS AMP FR931 AND I HAVE A HITACHI HT4 TURN TABLE THAT PRODUCES A LOW VOLUME SOUND WHEN THEY ARE CONNECTED.

I can't find anything about the HT4 but it should be connected to PHONO (nowhere else) if it has a moving magnet cartridge and you should set the PHONO/LINE selector to PHONO.

Sherwood RX 4105 no input for a turn table

Check for a line level switch on the turn table, it may be under the turn table itself lift the rubber mat and spin the table by hand, it may not have one or it could be on the back.
You can buy a phono amp that will boost the phono signal. Check at Radio Shack or google it.
