Bought my phone yesterday...Battery was losing charge quickly.. battery was down to half charge after about 15 minutes of fully charging.. Was trying to let the phone die completley then fully charge it, hoping that would help.. the phone only has about 2 hours total talk / standby time.. It's fairly new but has been unlocked and jailbroken so i can't very well call Apple... I let the phone die completely, and now - it won't charge at all. I have tried wall charger, usb to computer charger and car charger.. Phone doesn't respond to any of them.. Now that it is dead - it's DEAD... PLEASE HELP!!

I was told to let it die completely.. I bought the phone from a cell phone rep who was selling his own personal phone.. He said that id you recharge the battery before it dies, that the battery will never last as long as if you let it die, then charge it.. It is an Iphone, and it wasn't cheap.. Any other ideas? I have NO clue where there is a service center to take it to..

Ok first of all you should never let a phone die out of charge at all.IF it dies out of charge there are chances it might charge again once you charge it but in some cases it wont, you need to boost your battery just like jump start your car.It cannot be done anywhere except some service centre. If you are not taking to your service center , then you need to buy a new battery.

By physical appearance if battery seems to be bulged it has to be replaced.

By technical data see whether its getting drained out easily and soon so you need it to be replaced sooner than normal , all battery must have atleast a standby time of 18hours, this is practical knowledge .

Well, the chargers couldn't all be bad, so it must be a bad battery. Change it and try a new one.

Keep NiMh batteries fully charged?

NiMh batteries lose charge quickly after a 15 minute charge. Keep the batteries in the charger so that trickle charge keeps the float voltage up to maintain fully charged state until you have to use the batteries.

How long do i need to charge the laptop for the first time when i bought it ACER AS5732zg

Laptop batteries are notorious for dying out and losing charge quickly. If you treat your battery with the utmost care, you'll have success in getting the most out of it. First make sure you charge your laptop battery properly when using it for the first time.

Most laptops today are equipped with Lithium Ion batteries. It's essential that you learn your model's specifications so you can follow the correct usage practices. This is the only way you'll be able to achieve maximum battery power.

The amount of time it takes for your battery to fully charge depends on many factors, like your battery type and operating system. Many newer laptops will charge in 15 to 20 minutes, while others can take a few hours. When you're charging your battery for the first time, charge it fully before using your laptop. You may have to go through a battery cycle a couple times before your battery begins performing at its maximum capability. To do this, charge your battery fully, let it discharge (through normal use) to about five percent, and then fully charge it again. IF I WILL CHARGE MY PHONE IN A FEW MINUTES IT SHOWS FULLY CHARGE

I'm not certain what your question is you made a statement more or less.

I do know that alot of cell phones will show that they are fully charged after minutes of charging, but then very quickly go back down to almost dead within an hour. This is because the phone is not actually fully charged. Most batterys need at least an hour minimum to be fully charged after its drained completely.

Post back if you need any further assistance. Thank you for choosing Fixya!

Phone loses connection after few minutes

I looked up the battery specs for your phone. They are 3 X 200mah= 600mah battery packs. They should last 8 hrs talk time with the headsets. This style of battery pack in my experience only last about 1 1/2years and sometimes longer and "sometimes" shorter...much shorter. I bet you never had problems when you first got them. Basicly this "battery design arrangment" goes back many years before newer battery technlogy was developed. But designers still insist on using them even today. They are cheap to make. ****Time to replace them with new ones.**** Make sure you follow the mfgs charging instructions: "After battery installation, place the handsets in their base unit or charger and allow to charge for 16 hours before use. You can keep the battery charged by returning the handsets to their base unit or charger after each use. When the battery is fully depleted, a recharge takes about 12 hours. Average talk time on a fully charged battery is about eight hours depending on environmental conditions, standby time is approximately four days." Good luck
