Hello there, I have a 4' radar antena with a

Hello there, I have a 4' Furuno radar antena with a 10" GPS plotter. Plotter works perfect showing heading or north up; but radar image is upside down, antena is mounted front facing foward, so I have no idea what is wrong.

n the system setup, under “UNITS” I set BEARING to “MAG” (magnetic). This will cause the unit to display course / bearing information in relation to the Magnetic North and match magnetic compass readings. It is not the same as True North! One has to be careful with this setting. There are a number of areas where the earth's magnetic field is locally disturbed, sometimes very significantly. Your GPS may not account for it. - again, under “UNITS” I set “METRIC”.

Maybe you backup batterie inside you plotter is low If yor plotter shows you that you are somewhere in Afrika on the atlantikcoast you have to change only the battery inside the plotter it kost few euro.
The next possibility is that you have problems with you extern gps antena look after broken kable or try it with another Gps antena

C120 displays NO DATA SOURCE in the radar section of the screen. ohns resistance test checked out. what else can it be?

1. you must have the latest software 4.29 the new scanner dont work with the old Software.
2. Be shure that you have really put in the connector of the cable inside the plotter its not so easy.
3.
try the plotter on an nother boat with an working system than you will know if its a problem with the antena or Plotter

Can I use my furuno gps navigator to supply position data to my rdp-139 chartplotter and if so which wires need to be connected

Yes the output forom the Furuno GPS (like a GP31) will be yellow and green, hook these to theinput on the plotter blue (or black) and white. Use Data1 on potter as the input and select a nav source of "ALL" in setup menu.

Radar Displays the image upside down

If this is on the radar screen, you'll have to set your heading alignment on your radar. The radar may be 180 degrees out. if this occurs on the plotter, then if you have a heading sensor attached or an autopilot, your heading may be off.
