I have a Precor 9.25i treadmill that was determined to have a bad drive motor. The repairman had first tried a replacement controller board which did not solve the problem. I since replaced the motor myself, but now I get an error 26 and the belt runs backwards. I'm not sure if the repairman had plugged the wires back into the controller board correctly and I can't find any wiring diagrams that shows wire colors. I have the motor wires connected black to black and red to red.
The power leads Black/red will determine the direction that the motor will turn. If the leads have been switched to the wrong terminals at the lower PCA it will run backwards even if the black and red line up when the motor is plugged in. Check to see if the power cable on the lower board is in the right configuration. I've seen the terminals get switched when a new lower board is installed.

Normally most home treadmills are 250-300lb user capacity.
Call Precor with your model # and S/N and they can tell you exactly.

Dear Sir: I will try to help you, please be patience and carefully, use basics tools:screwdriver, hex, allen, Dvom. Troubleshooting: ERR2 - Motor Movement Since the motor moves when you press speed up, focus on the optic sensor, its wire connections, and the optic sensor wheel. If all seems well at the sensor, inspect the motor. Optic Sensor ??? Optic sensor wheel - Make sure that the optic sensor wheel rotates securely, without wobbling, in the middle of the optic sensor. Realign and tighten if necessary. If optic sensor wheel teeth are missing or bent, replace the optic sensor wheel. ??? Optic sensor wires - Make sure that wires are inserted securely to the optic sensor and to the drive board. Check wire continuity. ??? Optic sensor - Turn on unit power. Turn the motor flywheel with your hand. The optic sensor indicator (LED10, drive board) should light. . If it does not light, and all parts above are good, replace the optic sensor. Motor ??? Motor arcing - Does the motor show signs of wear - irregular arcing, carbon dust? ??? Motor brushes - Do brushes show signs of irregular wear - cracks, dents, lines? Replace the motor brushes. ??? M+ M- Wires - Make sure wires are connected properly. Other ??? Display main IC - To ensure proper signal processing, press down on the main IC on the display board, marked U5. . ??? Ribbon cable - Ensure that the ribbon cable is attached at the drive and display boards. Check cable
continuity.

Please see carefylly this videos +Tip for instructions. Normally the voltage is main terminal for motor will be 110-115Vac, but carefully in other case will be 220Vac-230Vac, I recomend that you measure the Outlet( receptacle from the wall) if there are 115 or 230Vac Single Phase.

Dear Sir:
You need to RUN YOUR SOFTWARE CALIBRATION, most of them is coming the instruction below from Hood of motor, follow the step, or use your instr.manual.This is for easy diagnose and troubleshooting.
2) Adjust the sensor speed +tight the wires, see the diagram below.
3) You must Test the main motor for Open+Short Winding.
4)Test the transformer for primary and secondary voltages.
5) See if in power supply you get +5vdc, for digital circuit.
6)Lubricate the deck vs walk belt.
Attached my block diagram for easy diagnose in treadmills
sincerely.God bless you.

SOURCE: my horizon 4.1t treadmill will incline/decline but does not run. showing an e1 error. please help
1) Adjust the speed sensor, clean, and tight the connector very well
see the diagram
2) Lube the deck belt, by lack of maintenance,
3) Test the motor input voltage, if there are the motor need repair.
4) Test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor,if there are the board is ffaulty.
RUN the software calibration for diagnose and troubleshooting.
