We have a TFX25JR side-by-side with ice maker and water dispenser; had water leaking on floor on freezer side of bottom left corner. Comes under tray, cleaned the coils and seemed to work, but 2 weeks later saw water and opened freezer and this time I saw an ominous orange glow behind the tray located on the bottom of freezer in the back. When I turned off the light switch on the door it took a while for the orange glow to fade. I hear a drip and a sizzle of water hitting something. I saw wires behind the back of the tray...never noticed them before where the metal has slits in back, where glow seamed to be taking place there. I shut off water, previously I shut off ice dispenser. Can this be fixed?

Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

Why is my GE (ZFSB23D SS) side by side refrigerator leaking at the back corner, near the rear wheel where the plastic water line goes in?

If the tubing is plastic it could have cracked when you moved the tubing to install the filter. If the tubing is OK then possinly the filter isn't all the way in or is leaking.

Water dispenser does not shut off

That is most likely a dual water control valve stuck open on back of refrigerator near floor. One side feeds ice maker and other side feeds the water dispenser. If the ice maker side began to leak slowly it would create quite a mess of ice flowing over ice maker and freeze every place it could inside the freezer. If you have an ice maker, check for a leak in the water line. If no ice maker, there could be a leak in the pan for the defrost water, or the drain hose is out of position. Also, check to see if the water is actually leaking out from the freezer door. That would indicate a clogged drain. The bottom inside the freezer may have water, or ice on it. If so, suspect the clogged drain.
