The air button just stopped working on our Pearl CS 60 whirlpool. Breaker and GCFI are fine. Don't know if it's the switch or pump. How do I find the switch to check?

Air Switch Repair
It sounds like you have a bad air switch located in your motor.
The air switch is what the air hose connects to on the back of the motor or on the box on top of the motor. The other end of the air hose is connected to the air button on the lip of the tub.
This is a latching air switch and when you push the air button it latches to send power to the motor. When the air button is pushed again it opens the latch in the air switch and stops power going to the motor shutting it off.

My jacuzzi bath tub will not shut off.I have reset the breaker, blown out the plastic line and air is coming out the other end but still wil not shut off. We have only used this tub 2 or three times. Any...

It sounds like your pump in turning on/off with an air button on the top of the tub.
The pump not turning off could be either a bad air button, not sending enough air through the tub to operate the air switch in the motor or it could be a back air switch in the motor where the air hose attaches to it.
Take a large straw and blow into the air switch and see if you can operate the air switch on/off.
If it will turn on/off then you know you have a bad air button on the tub however, if you cannot get it to turn the pump on/off then you know you have a bad air switch in the motor.

Pump starts spontaneously without pushing the switch button

This sounds as if a relay has gone out on the circuit board. There really could be no other reason for the pump to come on without pushing the button.
You will need the model number of the control box so you can find a replacement.

Problem with Malibu Landscape Lights Transformer ML900TW

Use an extension cord to plug the transformer into a different "test" GFCI receptacle, if it holds on the test GFCI you know that the GFCI for the transformer needs replaced. If it doesn't hold, then the transformer is on the way out and should be replaced. Sometimes motors and transformers will "leak" current and still work, but not trip a regular circuit breaker. A GFCI that is doing it's job will catch it though. Don't force a GFCI like that...you can wear it out prematurely.

Air push button activates the pump when pushed down but pump stops when I let off the button.

It could be a number of things. A faulty hose situation or the switch are most probable. If you have access to the switch area, you can try to do a visual on the hose to make sure it is fastened well. You may get very lucky and find the hose (through time) has moused its way loose.

If you have a meter, you can go much further.

Good luck!

The bath was working, then it stopped. I checked all the electrical parts, it would not work. the pump wll not work.

there are several reasons a pump will not turn on/off.
1. there is no power to the pump - check the circuit breaker up the the point where the pump plugs in.
2. the pump is bad.
3. the air switch in the motor is bad.
4. the button on the tub is bad.

The ON button is located at the back of my tub. My neice unscrewed it but not until it came off. I rescrewed it on tight but now it won't come on. Is there a pressure hose back there or is it electrical?

there is a tube connected to the underside of that air button. sounds as if the tubing has come off the button. You will need to get to the underside of that switch and reconnect the air tubing to the air button.

We were watching tv and all of a sudden the pump started running on our whirlpool bath, whats going on. We had to shut the circuit breaker to stop it.

Sounds like the circuit board in the system has had a voltage spike and cause it to go out. What is the model number of the pump with the circuit board?

you may have a bad switch how good are you with electrical you could go get a regular toggle switch that has the amp load of your pump and wire it to the pump and see if your pump comes on if it does well then you know your sensatouch controls are bad if you think you can handle it and you have a multi meter i will walk you through it
