How do I get a steal band for my Aquaswiss Trex watch?

I have a Aquaswiss watch and I need a band for it. A couple of links fell off and now I have to replace the whole band. Who can I either send the watch too or could someone send me a new band so I can have a professional watch person to fix it.

Wrist band adjustment

In addition to the Pin there is also a small inner "locking" collar about 2mm long that fits into the center section of each link.

I did not notice this collar at first and it fell to the ground when I removed the first link. Without this piece the Pin's will just slide through the links with no locking mechanism.

It fits neatly into the inner portion of the link directly opposite the arrow that shows the direction of removal on the band.

Aquaswiss Trax watch band adjustment

VSNDESIGNS SAYS:

You should first try to adjust the band at the Clasp first. The clasp has three holes that you could easily move your band up or down into. If you need to remove one or more of the links, try the following.

How to adjust the band on a aquaswiss trax watch

Warning: This is if you don't have any professional watch tools. And I definitely recommend you taking it to a jeweler first.

That being said...

I was able to adjust my band by using a small nail and a pair of needle nose pliers...and Krazy Glue or Super Glue (last warning...you really should take it to pro)...

1. Push the any one of the pins that holds the wristband together until you see it protrude from the other side. While applying pressure to the pin, quickly grab it from the protruding side with the needle nose pliers and pull off the metal cap from the pin.

2. Note you will notice that the pins are actually 2 pieces! They are not screwed together and it makes for a pretty poor design since, one the pins are taken out and then replaced after taking out the appropriate links... they tend to get loose and you will lose that tiny metal cap that holds the pin in place.

3. A professional will have a clamp that is small enough to press these two pieces together. But even that is precarious. I strongly recommend that you carefully apply a drop of crazy glue on each end of the pin, after you are finished.

Final note: I was luck to have spare pins from the links I removed to replace the pin that worked out of its cap. That little sucker is lost to the watch gods. Have fun! Also... you can make final adjustments at the 3 pin location at the wristband release.

Hope this was helpful!
