Is there a mute button on your telephone? If not, you probably cannot mute it except the old fashioned way, put yolur hand over the transmitter.

How can I turn off the mute function?

If it is a VTech phone ( CS6429 or similar )
press the [mute] button again: it is a toggle.

First press of [mute] turns mic off (mute-on).
Next press of [mute] turns mic on (mute-off).

Good luck!

I have accidentally muted my phone, how do I unmute it. Razzle phone

Knowing the type of phone you have would help also the circumstance. Is the phone muted during calls? or is it muted all the time? If the phone is muted all the time use the volume button usually on the side of the phone to raise the volume and it should take the mute off. If the phone is muted during a call their is normally a button on the screen of the phone during the call to mute and unmute the phone.

I need to mute/unmute my phone for a conference call. Not sure how to do this.

Some cell phones don't mute, but a *6 will mute your phone to the conference call center, and #6 will unmute if you wish to say something. This will not mute your phone, so when you hang up...you're always good to go to make calls. It only mutes a phone (any phone) to the server conducting the conference.

How do i get mute off my phone

Well that would be hard to believe you can't get mute off since you have to personally initiate mute while during a call and the mute would be disable after you hang up. The mute button is located on the left side below the screen. Now here is what you might want to look at. Make sure TTY mode is off, this option would put your phone in permanent mute. Go to settings then to call settings, TTY mode should be off. If this still doesn't work and your phone displays "car kit" on the main screen then your phone is probably water damage or needs repair.

No mute - conference calls

sounds as if you will need your vendor to program your phone and others that need be to have Handsfree/mute capabilities.. i assume since you can not mute then you can not place your phone on Handsfree either.

Is there a mute feature? Using the speaker phone w/mute?

sometimes the mute button is with the menu button or it has it own button. I would look on the phone and see if there is mute above a button. If it is above a button than that is the mute button when the phone is on. To make sure, I would call a friend then put it on speaker, then hit that button to see if that is it.

Mute - Turn On??

Welcome to Panasonic :-)

The mute button works when you have a speakerphone call. That means SP-PHONE pressed and press MUTE and it flashes to let you know it's on mute.

Maybe software version 9.0 will fix the mute to work on handset calls.....
