Since you have measured the voltage on the motherboard I must presume you are saying there is no power "indicator light" on computer. If this is not the case please clarify. If the light is absent please test the battery as these laptops are not designed to work without a battery or with a dead battery. Operating without a battery can spike the motherboard or other components and cause failure due to overvoltage. If you do have a power indicator light then next observe whether the bootup is proceeding with a beep after the POST (power on self test) and whether you can hear the movement of the hard disk drive... possibly indicating failed LCD display or display drivers/setup. Press F8 after the POST beep to get to safe mode display drivers.

Samsung usb floppy driver for toshiba satellite p305d-s8828 model

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, drivers and a list of Dealers as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

Hello im having issues finding where i can download the Ethernet driver for toshiba laptop model p305d-s8828

Hi there,

Go to the page at the link below, choose your operating system from the drop down window on the left next to the green "Download" icon, and then scroll down and if necessary through the pages numbered at the bottom until you come to your ethernet or "LAN" driver. Download it by saving it to your desktop and then double click on the file and follow its prompts. You should be good to go.

I cannot get any response from my toshiba satellite p305d-s8828. I have plugged it in - nothing. No lights at all when pushing the start button. Help, please.

There could be a problem with the battery. A fast check to determine whether you have a problem with the power adapter, power cord or the laptop's battery is to turn off the laptop, remove the battery, connect the power adapter, turn on the laptop & see if it works.
If the laptop works directly from the power adapter with the battery removed, then the power adapter is good. In this case we can suspect that the battery is defective & needs to be replaced.

If this did not work, try also disassembling the laptop & make sure that all main components are seated properly. Also make sure that all ribbon cables interconnecting the various components of the laptop are tightly connected.
