If you Google the model number of this set with the word lamp after it---you will find many places that will sell it---from about 109 dollars and up---make sure you get a lamp with the cartridge---the cheaper ones usually are just a bulb and you have to dismantle the cartridge and install the bulb your self into it.

Usually better to buy a complete lamp with cartridge that comes with a warranty.

Lamp Replacement on Sony Wega TV

Is your TV still under warranty? If it is, then you should send it back and let them fix it. If you do it yourself, you might void the warranty.

Sony Grand Wega kf50we610

Hello Kpollman,

Since this is an LCD projection television I would check to see if there is an image on the LCD screen. if there is not I would check the circuitry connected to the LCD. Now if there is an image on the LCD screen I would make sure that the white light bulb is working. Now this might seem backwards, but I have seen folks replace a blown bulb only to find out that the LCD screen was gone also, so this little bit of reverse angle troubleshooting will at least help you solve a major problem first and then allow you to move on to the simpler problem of a blown bulb.

I hope this helps,
Thank you,
