My fedder dehumidifier m7dh45b2a makes an annoying noise

Here's a link to where you can find the "doohickey" your looking for. It's really called an activation switch. There's also an exploded view of the parts for your model. Also, if you can't find it for Maytag, try Fedders. They make the same unit and actually made the one you have with the Maytag brand name on it. The model numbers will be almost identical. Juts drop the 'M' off the front.

Fedders made that unit for Maytag. Check the Fedders website for the same model number (just drop the M off the front of the model number) and you should be able to find what you need.

Look up the manual on line for a Fedders A7DH65B2A its the same machine.

call 1-866-629-8241. they are no longer honoring the warranty because the company that made the dehumidifier (fedders) went bankrupt. they will prorate the warranty and send you a check. we had two months to go on ours and they sent us a check for $14 and change.
