Check the DND mode and make sure it is in a disabled condition.
Check the power plug is connected to outlet power cords.
Connect to the Wifi router or internet working mode.

Have a coworker call your extension to see if DND is on, they will go straight to voicemail or get a fast busy. Speaker 42 may be the default cancel DND code, depending on your system and whether the codes were changed. Anyway, ringing is set up in system programming. If someone calls your extension it will likely ring, but outside calls have to be assigned to ring in system programming. Usually need a tech to do the programming since it gets complicated very quickly.

Press the FWD/DND button, then 1 to enable or 0 to disable DND.

1. Grab an outbound line.

2. On the LCD screen look for ">>>>", press the corresponding button.

3. Keep pressing this until you see "DND" on the screen, press the corresponding button.

If that doesn't work, you need to make sure DND is PROVIDED for this phone. Most likely if you can't turn it off, NOT PROVIDED is selected.

The FWD/DND button has 3 steps of keypress, Off, FWD, DND. The idea is you press it until it stops flashing or being lit and you have nothing set. If that doesn't work, try Call FWD/DND cancel, *7100 on the intercom.

pickup the handset (phone... watever) and press the FWD/DND button then press #2 then type in the number of the mobile (or number you want to forward to...), and hang up the phone... then when your finished with the call forwarding function, press FWD/DND again and this time press #0

What 2 does it turn on the call forwarding feature
. and 0 turns off forwarding/do not disturb functions

theres 5 different functions after you press FWD/DND

0: turns FWD/DND off
1: put the phone into Do Not Disturb Mode
2: call forwarding
3: Busy-Forwarding.. which means if your on the phone and someone rings, it forwards them to the number you specify
4: No Answer- when you don't answer the phone if forwards the caller onto the number you type in
and lastly 5: Busy/No Answer- does both function 3 & 4

Leave the handset in the cradle and press:
Feature (star) 1
Press the DND button
Press Rls

This is the feature code to add a Speed Dial # to a button, but by not entering a number, it just blanks the button. Goos Luck!

To disable DND on a Norstar system,
dial FEATURE # 8 5
from the set.

Hello,

I would suggest unplugging the phone from power and the phone jack for about 5 minutes and see if that will clear the DND LED.
