We were able to disassemble our graco playpen but can hardly assemble it again. somthing to do with the locks at the sides. pls advice. thanks

How do you lock an Avalon on the move series playpen? Where do I get instructions?

These playpens have a safety feature.

First thing is to make sure the center of the playpen is up in the air.
First lock the short side rails. They will click into place.
Now lift up and lock the long set of rails.
Now you want to push the center piece (floor) down all the way.
Now your playpen is set up.
When you go to put it up you will pull the floor up first and then release the side rails.

The one side is not going up

Make sure the Centre of the playpen is NOT folded down before all sides is locked.

How do I set up an avalon playpen? I can't seem to get the sides to stay up. Everytime I pull them up they just drop back down.

with the bottom still collapsed, straighten the sides, then they will stay. the bottom has to be the last part of the assembly.hope this helps ;)

Problems re opening the Graco Pack N Play - one side won't lock

if so try always from turnig and pulling up the center and then with some help squeeze pulling up the side of each pack. then try to push everything down.

it's treaky and coming back blocked very fast. you have to manage all of them at the same time

When collapsing the avalon playpen, one end will not budge.

pull up the bottom in the middle first then collapse sides the sides opposite eachother at the same time ex. head n foot or left n right side

Putting up and taking down of Graco Avalon playpen

If you take the mattress pad out and collapse the base, you can then lock the sides. I was in the same boat as you. Very frustrating. Hope this helps.

hey guys, wat you have to do is keep the middle of the playpen up, the very middle thenyou lift up all the sides until they click...once all 4 sides have locked you press the middle of the play pen down and put the mat on top :) hope this helps

The locks pull underneath and unblock from each sied of the sides but first turn and pull the center of it if you can't unblock them.
it's treaky and coming back blocked very fast. you have handle all of them at the same time.

This is among the worst products I have encountered. The assembled unit is quit functional, but assembly and particularly the disassemble is almost impossible to accomplish. Successfully did this twice, but the third tube, one of the kegs at the bottom came off in my hand. The hub in the center (plastic) is broken. Now the whole this is trash. Expensive mistake buying this.
