Try doing a hard reset on a Sansa m250:

  1. Turn off the Sansa. Just pull the battery out for a second.
  2. Plug the Sansa into a computerI have Sanso m250 2.0gb mobel. Logo screen is appe - 4.gif, and open "My Documents" in the computer.
  3. Open the Sansa file as if it were a drive, then go to the "MUSIC4.gif Specific storage" file.
  4. Right click the "MUSIC Specific storage" file, and press "Format."
This should hard reset the Sansa m250. I do not know if this will work on other Sansa m200 type .mp3 players. You can start over with your playlists. This has worked for me.

In step 1, remember to reinsert the battery. You do not need to press any buttons before plugging the Sansa into the computer.

My sansa clip won't play the songs I loaded on!

I've had this happen a couple of times in the last 6 months. You can get it to play again by chosing the format option from the settings menu. Of course, then you've lost everything you had loaded on to it. Download your music/audio books again and they will play.

Sanso Clip 2G from Windows Media Player

You may be syncing them to the wrong file. This is odd, but try fishing around the device for any "Music" folders. Then, you should be able to cop&paste the songs there. Please rate!

Sandisk 240m mp3 not playing

the radio and mp3 uses one audio amplifier, check if you have loaded your music with mp3 songs, if not load with mp3 songs. if songs used to play and just stopped playing, then follow these steps,

i does your display show song playing, if it does then your set is fault, and if it doent and display unsuppoted, load with mp3 songs.

ii if it was playing and just stopped, than take it to a tech, who can open it and check the change-over switch, or selector of that set.

iii the problem is to very big.

Menu changing modes

Reset the player once to make sure it isn't a temporary glitch - reset will NOT erase all of your songs.

Press the downward part of the circular ring when the word "music" is on your screen, and see if it will scroll doen to FM; if the word "music" does not appear, press the left side of the circular ring until the word "Music" appears on the screen

When you power on your MP3 player it will go to the FM radio. 1. Press menu.

3. You either press the enter button after accessing the menu or go down to select Playback mode (I forget which one it is).
