HELLO

If the line is VERTICAL and at the centre of the screen it is called LINE COLLAPSE, but when the line is HORIZONTAL this is called FIELD COLLAPSE.

It may be dry joints on the field/frame output IC or it may have gone open circuit. I know that the field/frame output IC's can be obtained, but if you are no good with a soldering iron then you'll have to put it in for service.

GOOD LUCK WITH IT (:-)

White line in middle of screen on a cx32h60 toshiba tv

The vertical sweep output is absent. Check its vertical output section circuit for the fault. Check all the solder terminals of that section, and resolder them by applying a little more solder. Take special care to the solder terminals of the vertical output IC. If these do not help you, check and replace the vertical output IC.

MY 35IN COME ON PICTURE AND EVERYTHING WAIT 10 SECONDS AND GOES OFF 35IN TUBE ABOUT 15 YEARS OLD

There is likely something wrong with the tube itself. It could be a short that is only there when the line warms up (10 seconds is plenty considering the amount of power that runs through it) or the CRT has a crack.
If you want to continue with this type of TV there are quite a few reliable TV repair companies in almost every mid to large town around the US. If you don't want to invest in repairing a 15 year old TV (not a bad life span for electronics by the way) then you could very likely find a 32"-37" LCD TV at your local electronic store that is reasonably priced.

Toshiba 52HMX95 DLP has weird gray think line

DLP TVs work projecting light throught a tube covered with mirrors, called the light tunnel.

The gray shadow it is something in the middle of the light tunnel, probably a mirror that has gone out of place when you moved the TV.

Toshiba MW27FN1

That problem is in the vertical section. Check for leaky or dry capacitor(s). Check the capacitor(s) with values less than 50uF.
Good Luck.
