Router initially set up on PC running XP Home Edition. Attempting to connect MacBook, but am receiving "invalid password" message. Also have Norton 360 (version 3.5.2.11) running although firewall and antivirus disabled during router set up. I am able to connect to my neighbour's network (he tested it for me), just not my own.
Please advise.
Is your wireless network secured ?
If you are trying to connect to the secured wireless network, make sure that the network that you are typing is correct.
If you are not sure about the network key
then check the network key on the router.
You said that MAC is able to connect to the neighbor's wireless network.
Make sure that the Wireless MAC filter on your router is disabled.
