High School Musical game - language

The first time the game was entered, my daughter set the language to German. Now the game starts in German, and we don't get an option to change the language.

The DS itself is set to English, and displays messages in English.

    I have the same problem with "my baby girl" game. My 4 1/2 year old daughter took it upon herself to start the game for the first time and set the language to French. I cannot get it back to English.

I got this from the disney.com/videogames web-site. It works.
1. Put in game and turn on.
2. At Menu tap the bottom listing (Op...)
3. Tap the top listing until English appears. It goes through a bunch of languages.
4. Then hit the arrow on lower left of screen and you are all set.

Press A, B, X, Y, left and right buttons simultaneously. As the game begins this will give you the option to delete the saved games (it will be in whichever language which had been wrongly selected). Just press tick box in bottom right hand corner. The game will start and offer the choice of languages again.

Go to options andwhen it displays the language hit A until it gets to english then just go back ..

Forget the solution "buy another ds and copy of the game"
Select "options" (bottom of the screen in any language) then keep pressing a language until English is on the screen then simply select exit and it should stay in English

My daughter did the same thing. I can't believe there is no option to go back and fix this language problem. Of coarse it is Christmas and eveything is closed. HELP!!!

WE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. OUR DS IS SET TO ENGLISH. WE CAN CHANGE THAT WITH NO PROBLEM. ONCE THE HIGH SCHOOL GAME IS INSERTED, IT GOES TO GERMAN, WITH NO ABILITY TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE ONCE THE GAMES IS INSERTED. PLEASE HELP

Buy another DS and another copy of the game. Or if you have a seconds DS, then just buy another copy of the game. Scroll through the menus on the brand new game while scrolling through the menus on the german game until you find the change language (or whatever) option. On the german game, select it and change the language back to english.

Pet shop in german but need it in english
As I said the last time you posted this...

I've never played the game, but try restarting the program, and when the menu starts hit anything that says or looks like the word 'wahlen'. Try to find the language select out of the options.

go on the net get an online translator, just type online translator in google, and look up the word for menu, language selection, and english in german and you should recognise these in your gane

High school musical dvd player parental control password
ok I have got the manual and for parental options it says

The parental option anebles parents to prevent their children from watching inappropriate material on a dvd. It reads the ratings for programming, then denies access to programmnig if the program's rating meets the limitations you selected. In this case, the user will have to enter a 4 digits security password, then press enter button.

The password in my book is forward button,backward button, forward button, backward button.
tahts the ones with the 2 arrows on.

I hope this helps i need the help line no because my little girls remote does not work with her player.

Accidental setting of wrong language in ds lite game.
Just start the game and enter the menu. There is an item for options, if yu cannot read the language, try them all. Once you have found the options you can choose the "new" language. Finished.

My daughter has the ds game high school musical but cant play it. either the disc we bought is in german or when she has loaded it she has pressed german instead of english. how can we fix this so it can...
This is a common problem. Remember that you can only change the language of the DS and not the actual game. Go to the small pic of the ds on the main menu and then the tool. Click the globe and then the language of your choice.

It is really very simple and it will stay that way until it is changed again.

High School Musical
When you start up the Console, click the button at the bottom of the screen. It will bring up an options menu. Then click the spanner sign, then the globe. Choose english as your language. It will make this the default language. The game might still not work though, if not when you start up the menu, one of the buttons will probably be a language option. Either look up what each word means, or just go through them all. (usually the first two are New game and Load game) Language options will be either on the main menu or the options menu.
