Where is the waste toner cartridge in the Canon IR 2022 photocopier. cannot find anything about it in the manual and it keeps saying it is full

It indicating Waste toner full, Replace drum unit or clean the waste toner

First try to clean out the waste toner cartridge. If that doesn't help check the film it could be torn and that can be replaced.

Possible Problems:
1)Out of / Low on Ink.
Solution : replace the ink
2)Printer Setting
Solution : Check to make sure the lighter/darker slider is somewhere near the middle. This will be in the configuration screen on your printer.

Hi there you can empty the waste toner box wich is located inside drum unit.

The procedure is next:

open front cover and leftsideway door
release the blue handle above the drum unit
pull out the drum unit
on top of drum unit, near handle is located plastic grey colored cork
remove it and by means of vacume cleaner clean the vaste toner.

Note that if you flip out the drum unit and try to empty waste toner it could be messy and the toner can get into charge roller or on drum cleaning blade and then you need to change it completly.

E019 usually means the waste toner is full. I think its in the drum on these so a new drum will be required.

Drum is under the front cover.

you need to empty the waste toner inside the drum cartridge,open the front door pull the lever down and take the drum cartridge out(with care) there is a cover on top of it.

Hello sir; According this particular model,the waste toner box comes with drum unit, for another word if waste toner box is full you have to replace whole drum cartridge.
