I have a 2gb disk in my Lexar mp3 player but I can't seem to access it to play the music. Basic screen when I open the player says "no files"

This is most likely a file format or digital rights management issue. Make sure the files are in a compatible format. The computer can play them because it is just looking at the player as a storage device and does not rely on it for playback.

If the files are .wma, try converting them to .mp3. Your device may have come with software that will perform this function for you.

Plug the drive into an available USB port on your computer. Windows should recognize the driver and install the drivers for it automatically. You should be able to access the drive by double clicking on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. It may also pop up to view contents automatically.

Unfortunately, you can't use a microSDHC card in the TH1101. The TH1101 was designed to work with microSD cards. The microSDHC is a newer standard; while those cards will fit into the slot, they will not function properly in microSD devices. You'll have to limit yourself to microSD cards 2GB and smaller.

i have insignia 2 gb mp3 player and i dont havesupport software to open it as i want to change songs it give error as
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

I also have the W233. Love the 9 hour battery- great for music. I was having problems getting music to load but I just figured it out and it now works. 1) make sure usb cable is for data and not just charging. 2) make sure the music files are a supported file type such as MP3, because WML is NOT a supported file type for this phone (I had to change my Windows Media Player Rip options so that it was Riping to my computer as MP3, the default is WML. Then I had to delete and re-rip music as MP3 that I wanted on my phone). 3) also, the manual for the W233 says it only supports upto 2GB micro sd card, and only guarantees San-Disk but I used a 2GB Lexar and it works.

maybe try uninstall program on pc then put instalation disk back in and reinstall

try transfering them from a different music system

It is likely that the files loaded are not true MP3, therefore the PC -which can cope with WAV and other formats will play them but the player that read only MP3 cannot. Are you sure the files loaded are truly MP3?
