Did this happen suddenly or has it been gradual? If this happened after moving or changing the monitor the problem could be a bent pin on your monitor cable.Did this happen suddenly or has it been gradual? Adjust the control knobs situated on the underside of the monitor...it should be situated on either the left or right...follow the settings...it shouldnt be too difficult...

Unfortunately, this is not a fixable problem. Samsung CRT monitors are well known for losing color; they have defective cathode ray tubes. I recommend that you buy an lcd screen. sorry if that wasn't what you wanted to hear! don't forget to rate
problem with the monitor Display cable. it is damaged.
Normally monitor will receive 3 colors red, green, Blue signals from CPU. If one cable i.e Red wire connection is missing in display cable which is connected to monitor, Red color image on monitor wil be replaced with other fade color.
So, need the replace the display cable or display connector!
This usually means the red or green or both primary color module is bad. Monitors come with 3 primary color module controllers and they use them in various combinations to make the other colors. The primary colors are blue, green, and red.
Confirm the "no color red" by testing with another PC. If the same condition check if a color adjustment on the monitor is possible... like maybe a default setting. If the monitor still produces a bit of red it might be possible to edit the color adjustments using the advanced graphics adjustments; or a graphics program that your computers' manufacturer has available on your computer.
it is very simple, by default in monitor circuit RGB (Red, Green, Blue) tube is installed. and in combination of both of three colors we are able to view colorful image. due to non functionalty of Red color u r not able to view red color in screen, either you replace picture tube or purchase new monitor. coz cost of this tube is equal to monitor.
Change the vga cord of your monitor. red, geen and blue signal from cpu to color monitor pass tru vga cord. if one line is cut for example red line is cut 100% there is no red color in your monitor.
Hey Kuld.. Just asking... since both, your TV and your monitor have the same color issue...??.... have you been to the optometrist lately... (My Dad had this color issue with his eyes!).. he was red color blind..
Good luck,
