The error 201 means exactly what you are getting;
a paper jam between the printer input and exit sensors.

It is common on these printers for toner to build up on the fuser input guide and eventually gets so big as to catch on the leading edge of the paper,

you will need to scrape the encrusted toner off of the guide.

If the device has done a large volume of printing (say over 100k) it may be a faulty fuser assembly.

When we print something, the paper comes out and is wrinkled and has some ink on it in places where there is no print. The fuser checks out fine.

Description sounds like the fuser rollers are bad.
To check it out run a 1/2 test.
Put paper in the manual feed tray. Print something. As the paper gets 1/2 way into the printer, open the top cover,(you might have to print a few sheets to catch it just right) take out the toner and look down at the paper. If it is wrinkled, you could have a bad toner cartridge. If it looks good...get the fuser replaced.

Hi i have two hp2015 ans the printer has started to smear the ink on the rollers, would the fuser need replacing or is it the paper type?

The function of Fuser (covered by Teflon sheet) is to heat the paper in order to fuse the toner to the paper. Toner sometimes smears after the print 1. If the fuser is not heating properly, 2. Teflon (Fuser sleeve) is damaged or 3 Paper is thick (Card). If you are using normal paper, then it could be the fuser.

Hope it helps! Good Luck!

Laserjet 4050 - black streaking on right hand side of page

It is either the toner cartridge or the fuser.
Put paper in the manual feed tray.
Print the Configuration Pages.
When the sheet is half way fed into the printer, open the top cover.
Remove the toner and look at the sheet of paper. If you see the black streak, the toner is bad.
If the sheet looks good, the fuser is bad. Probably a bad roller, which you can see looking at the fuser.

I am getting several black lines in scanned and copied documents of my DCP 7020 Thanks

Check the print document to see if the ink rub of easily,if so this mean the fuser cartridge need to be change.Turn off the printer and wait until it is cool before changing the fuser cartridge because the fuser get very hot when ever the printer is in use.

Open the fuser cartridge door. On most printers this door will be either on the left-hand side of the printer or in the back. Consult your owner's manual for the exact location. Flip down the clips that hold the cartridge in place, then grasp the handle and pull it out of the printer.
Push the new fuser cartridge in until it snaps into place, then flip the clips up to lock it in place. Close the fuser cover door.
Open the toner cartridge door and remove the toner cartridge. On most laser printers the toner cartridge is located either in the front of the printer or on the right-hand side.
Vacuum underneath the toner cartridge to remove all paper dust and toner residue. This debris has a tendency to build up and cause streaks and stains on the paper.
Wipe the interior of the printer with a soft cloth to remove any remaining debris that could cause problems with print quality. Continue cleaning the printer until all debris is removed.
Purchase a set of laser printer cleaning sheets, and load one or two in the paper tray. Print to those sheets of paper to clean the paper path. These sheets are slightly sticky, and they are designed to remove dirt and debris from the paper path.
You should also clean the print drum and the corona wires.

I have a HP Laserjet 4250 that is printing dirty prints. I have replaced the toner and the fuser unit and cannot correct the problem. I have 2 of these printers and the toner and fuser unit works no...

Try printing from the manual feed tray(tray 1). Put a few sheets of paper in the tray. Print anything that is more than two or three sheets of paper. The paper path test is good, 10 sheets. As the paper gets about halfway into the printer, open the top door. Pull out the toner cartridge. Look down at the paper. If it's dirty it has to be the toner or the transfer roller. If it's clean it could be a dirty paper path or fuser.
Vacuum out the printer, if you have mounds of toner laying in the paper path, everything that comes out of the printer will be dirty.

The printing is clear but on the buttom of every page it is like a duplicate printing with grey color. What is wring on my printer or I need to change toner?

First thing to consider is a toner getting low but it can be a drum, fuser (fixer) or transfer roller. If it repeats the grey at a certain interval it's likely a roller in the fuser/fixer, the drum (light sensitive coated roller is all it is) or a failing transfer roller (it charges to pull the toner image off the drum onto the paper and hold it till the heat of the fuser bonds it to the paper). Easiest and least wasteful, and what Brother would tell you to do first, is to replace the toner. If it doesnt correct it you still have the new toner to use once the problem is corrected. By virtue of it being fine except the end of the page sounds like toner. One way to figure it out definitively is send a page while the exit door is open. Watch and once half the page is out of the exit door open the toner door to stop the printing. It wont hurt anything but will allow you to see the end of the sheet before it goes to the fusing unit. Of course you need to be very careful removing the sheet to prevent damage to the fuser. If you get the grey on the bottom of the sheet during the half sheet test I mentioned then it's in the image creation and transfer, not the fuser/fixing stage. Replace the toner and try a full sheet. If corrected it was the toner. If not then the drum or transfer roller would be at fault. Drum is user replaceable and while expensive it's another item you can store back on the shelf till you need it if the new drum doesnt help.Transfer roller needs to be replaced by a service person. You could do it but you would need to have the section of a service manual to show you what to do.

I'm getting ghost images on multi prints to the point it is unreadable, is this the drum or fuser?

The only way to tell is to start a print and power off when print is still inside. If you see the ghost before the fuser it's the drum, if clean before the fuser, it's the fuser. You can also open the back door and look at the fuser roller with a light, the fuser roller should be clean but if the roller has images it's time for a fuser.

The T642 jams constantly under the toner cartridge when printing from the manual tray.

Hi, Make sure you have all of your paper settings properly configured in the Paper Menu of the printer. Paper size, type and weight. Then make sure there is nothing blocking the path of the paper as it enters the printer. That will be easy to notice since if there was and obstruction the paper will get damaged. If there is nothing in the paper path then the printer must be giving you an error. If its a 201 then the input sensor(little plastic flag under the toner) could be damaged. If it gives you a 202 then maybe the fuser exit sensor is damaged. In that case you will have to contact Lexmark's tech support so that you can get help if your printer is still under warranty.

An inch wide streak appears on the right side of a laser printer printed page.

If you can rub the toner off the paper it is the fuser.

fuser, the part of a laser printer that melts the toner onto the
medium. It consists of a hot roller and a back-up roller. After toner
is transferred to the paper, the fuser applies heat and pressure to
ensure that the toner stays on the paper permanently. This is why
paper is warm when it comes out of a laser printer.

For toner problem:

Do a half test as follows -
Print one sheet from the fold down tray, just as the trailing edge of the paper
goes into the printer open the toner door to stop the printer. Remove the toner
cartridge, are the marks on the paper that you can see in the printer? If they
are there the cartridge needs replacing.
