There is a sensor that is located where the front edge of the paper sits when you load paper. If you take all of the paper out of the feed tray and use a flashlight to look in the throat of the paper feed area, you should see a small piece of plastic (in the shape of a blade) sticking up. If you do not see that sensor flag it may be broken off, or there may be a small piece of paper jammed against the sensor flag, keeping it from moving downward when you load the paper tray. That can happen if you pull a mis-fed piece of paper out of the machine in the opposite direction that the paper normally travels when printing. When you load the paper in the machine, it pushes that sensor flag down, telling the machine that there is paper loaded. either the sensor flag is broken off or there is something jamming the paper sensor, keeping it from being pushed down by the paper.
Try REMOVING the white caked up paper dust from the pickup roller located at the front of the paper tray. Next, clean the pickup roller with either 409 or Fantastic all purpose holdhold cleaner using a Q-Tip or a rag.
YOU HAVE FAN THE PAPER BOTH ENDS LONG WAYS FAN THE PAPER, WIDE OR SIDE OF THE PAPER NEEDS TO BE FANED,
ASSIST THE PAPER INTO THE FEEDER MAKE SURE THERE IN NO FORIEGN OBJECT IN THE FEEDING AREA MAYBE PENCIL OR PEN FELL DOWN THERE,
STICK YOUR HAND BEHIND THE PAPER AND PUSH THE PAPER FORWARD UNTIL PAPER STARTS TO FEED YOU HAVE TO DO EVERY TIME YOU LOAD NEW PAPER UNLESS YOU PLACE NEW PAPER BEFORE IT RUNS OUT OF PAPER, THIS IS A PICKUP ISSUE FOR THE PRINTER,
the gears of the printer r worn out and they have hanve lost their allignment settings so this problem.either replace the gears.or the other solution.do not insert the paper in the tray ,keep it little bit outside and hold the end of the paper in hand when you will give a printout the printer will make a noise of picking the paper at that time just push the paper inside and then it will print properly.
does it try to grab the paper?
do you hear anything happening before the beep?
The machine recognises that there is paper, then you should hear the communication, once it has the correct signal telling it the line is available for transmission it will feed the paper.
look at the tires and see if they turn to feed the paper, is there something in the way, do the tires turn,???
if yes clean with alcohol and try again, if the tires are too smooth then they need to be changed.
I see that you have mechanicals problem the doublex maybe faulty
i need from you to tray clean the printer all printer roller and tray to disable the doublex future from the driver try to print and send to me feed pack
If the print-out is an 'alien-like' one, the problem is on the sensor of the printer. The sensor is on the opposite side of the gears. Under the black cover.
