ok, Acer is junk brand IMO
they dont have service manuals, so I dont buy from them ever.
so then you get to beg for simple acts, or learn to goggle.

i google for you, and find PS is 12 years old today, 2006 built.
I see it is a desktop, like all real desktops (ATX spec) they have a left side panel and this comes off (unlike silly dells that look like CLAM)
on 99% of most cheap desktops the left rear edge has 2 screws.
my high end workstations have LATCH or even a locking latch.

so I RTM. page, 43 below, 1st google hit, open book search work "OPEN" omg fancy captive spring screws too, how keen is that.?

There is a switch on the case that is indicating it is open.

You need to shut the case properly to stop getting the message or fix the switch closed.

Hi need help asap.
I opened my acer desk top box to clean dust out and now has warning chassis open.
I cant access the bios or anything else. Does someone have a suggestion????

Since the Veriton 3900gx does not have any special hardware, you could use the standard Windows drivers.
If you want to try something else, try the drivers from an earlier veriton model. http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html

then go to pc health on bios, chassi option press enter key .choos e reset the press f10 save yes

go to the bios and disable this warning

Depnding upon model Acer use one of the following to enter the bios settings:-
F1, F2 or CTRL+ALT+ESC

Here is the solution. I had the same problem.
Chassis Warning
"Warning your chassis has been opened. Press F1 to continue. Press Del to enter setup menu."
Resolution
Enter Bios
Goto Intergrated Peripherals
Goto Onboard I/O setup
Find "Chassis Opened warning"
Set to “Disable”
Press F10 to save and exit changes
