Testimonial: "Thank you!"
I have a great lakes hot tub, over the weekend it was shut off and drained. It was left that way till I came home today. I finished cleaning it out and refilled it. I had to use a propane heater to thaw it out. At first it had the error code OH, but now it reads Sn and won't turn on. Any ideas of what is wrong ???
If the SLP or SL Message is Alternating with the Water Temperature on the Display, the Spa is Operating in the Sleep Heating Mode.
If the SLP or SL Message is ON Solid (Not Flashing) on the Display, the Spa is Operating in the Sleep Heating Mode, but there is No current water temperature because the Spa is between Filter Cycles.
Hope this helps.

The "F05" error code is indicating a Water Temperature Sensor Error. Does it take long time for the water to get hot when you initially start it? If the water is cold entering the tub when hot water or warm water is selected it possibly could cause the error. It only makes sense because after you cancel the cycle and restart the washer it does OK because the cold water has been purged.
There is a thermistor located on the heating element mounting bracket which is used to monitor the water temperature. The heating element w/thermistor will be located on the lower back portion of the tub. You might find a loose wire connection on the thermistor. You will need to remove the rear panel to access the heater and thermistor. You will need an ohm meter to measure the resistance of the thermistor. See images below for specifications. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord before removing the rear panel.
If during the water heating step in the wash cycle, the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range, the "F/05" error code will be displayed.
