Always be sure the batteries are charged and suited for your device.
Check contacts of the batteries and in the battery compartment of your device. Dirty or oxidised contacts can be cleaned with a dry cloth, or a cotton swap. Never use sharp tools to clean contacts or anything sharp in or on electronic equipment.
Always charge batteries before using it for the first time, or if you have not used it for a long period. 3 months is a very long period.
Always charge sets of batteries (2 or 4) together.
Do not use alkaline batteries unless it is absolutely necessary. In some cases, alkaline batteries may have a shorter service life than NiMH. Alkaline battery performance is limited, especially at low temperatures. The use of NiMH batteries is recommended.
Never use manganese (Zinc-Carbon) batteries in electronic devices.
These batteries are only to be used in flash lights.
To open your Regent digital electronic safe, you must enter the correct combination code on the keypad and then turn the handle in the direction indicated. to retract the locking bolts and open the door.
If you don't have the combination or the batteries are flat, you can use a rare earth puck magnet. It is faster than using the combination.
you would need to hot wire the batteries for the code to work but if the batteries have gone flat then it needs to be re-programmed again ,only one soloution here and thats to open it with a radial cutter
Only through a licensed locksmith. Provide the key numbers and possibly even take the safe to him/her as proof of ownership. Locksmiths have to record all attemots to open safe's or maling f keysto the police.
