Most micros have either a 15amp or 20 amp ceramic fuse at the top behind the touch pad. cover has to be removed. don't touch the hv capacitor. check fuse for continuity if none replace with like fuse. if it blows again you have another problem.

No Light and the turntable is not working

Open your microwave completely unscrewed but make sure it is disconnected from the power; check all the other fuses inside, if it doesn't fix the issue then take it to a pro to get this fix.

The 2 screws on the bottom of the stainless steel panel in back have a hexagon head that I can't remove. What type of screwdriver do I need? I want to try and replace the fuse because it is completely...

You need a "nut driver" -- probably either 3/16, 1/4, or 5/16 ". If you have one of those 5-in-1 screwdrivers you see at shopping counters almost everywhere these days, one of the nut drivers on it will probably fit.

I'm searching for a replacement turntable support for my Emerson MW8102SS and find it's discontinued. Someone surely must carry parts like this, but my searches have turned up nothing. Any recommendations?

The original part number was either M0R0674 or MOR0674.

I checked the best suppliers and eBay and came up dry.

You may be able to find a defective whole microwave.

Here's a Google / Craigslist search you can try.

Good luck.

I had the same problem with the same make and model microwave. Do I have to remove the back to change the fuse? I spoke with a Home Depot rep who said there is risk of shocking yourself if fixing it yourself. Is it worth changing the fuse or buying a new one?
