If they have a scart sockets simple connect them together viva a scart lead. Set one in play and on the other press the av button, select the socket the playback vcr is plugged into and you should see the picture. If you want to record it press the record button.
Ideally the none playback vcr should have two scart sockets. One connected to the TV and the other to the playback vcr.

How can i make dvd from vhs

You need an USB VHS to DVD adapter and plug the video recorder into this adapter and then plug the adapter into the USB port of your computer, install the software on your computer.
Then you can save the VHS video file onto your computer and then burn a DVD disc.
Check out this WEB site for these adapters.

I have a Panasonic DMR-ES30V. I've only ever recorded from what I'm watching on the TV to a DVD. I now have a VHS tape that I'd like to record to DVD. I tried starting the dvd to record...

Most Combo Recorders (VHS and DVD) will prevent you from
recording a Copyrighted VHS tape program onto DVD.
Try recording a TV program onto your VHS tape, then
transfer it to your DVD and see if your new DVD recording
will work or not.

Is third time a charm. Again several years ago I

Here is the owner's manual for your DVD machine. This is a VHS recorder but not a DVD recorder. To record VHS tapes to DVDs, you will need a DVD recorder.
You will plug the yellow video out connector on the VHS to the yellow 'Video in' connector on the DVD Recorder. Do the same for the red and white audio connections, out on the VHS, IN on the DVD Recorder. Connect your TV to the DVD recorder so you can see the picture you are recording.

Have a toshiba tp 61H95 proj TV- want to connect panasonic dvd recorder and toshiba vhs recorder so I can copy family videos to dvd- can't get hook ups set up for both to work.

Select AV-1 or some thing in TV and plug DVD recorder Video-Audio output in AV-1 input of TV, playback any DVD and confirm its picture and sound in TV. Press Stop button of DVD recorder to stop playback.
Now plug Video-Audio output of VCR in DVD recorder input and select AV Input in DVD recorder, insert VHS tape in VCR and playback it and confirm you get VHS picture and sound in TV via DVD recorder.
Hookup between TV, DVD recorder and VCR is completed.
Playback VHS tape in VCR, Insert blank DVD disc in DVD recorder and press Record while you see VHS tape picture in TV.
Hope this info will help you.

Recording from the Mini DV to VHS Tape

Mini dv is a digital recording and VHS is analogue so they are incompatible. Does your camera have an analogue output? That is a lead that ends with something like RCA plugs or a Scart plug. Then you can feed the signal into a VHS recorder.

Dvd to vcr?

Plug the DVD connections into the INPUT on the back of the VCR. This is sending the signal from the DVD player INTO the VCR.
If you are familiar with the VHS to VHS, then remove the VCR and replace it with the DVD player.

I hope this helps :)

If the question changes it will send me an automatic message. So if this was not enough info, just let me know! I'll actually hook mine up to record this way then I'll be able to tell you step by step if need be.
