I have a Mio 268 - approx 5 yrs old - I wish to know how to update my Mio map card. Norm

Go to the manufactures website..ther will/should be a link to software/map upgrades and updates. Most have a search bar on the main page that you can type in.... map updates for xxxx model (xxx being your units model number)

Try this: 1. Connect your device to the computer 2. Make a backup of your addresses and favorites if you wish 3. In File Explorer, right click on the device (removable drive) >> Format 4. Start the Desktop 5. Go to My Mio >> Reinstall the software 6. Go to My Mio >> Recover Keys 7. You can now reinstall the maps from the Maps tab. If you downloaded a map update, make sure to use the downloaded file. 8. Go to My Mio / Voice Transfer and re-install the voice files

How to unlock my mio m300

If it's locked on the main screen and won't load, follow the below process.
If you want to unlock maps, you need to buy a key or update here:

To reload the software:

Mitac Mio C210 Update maps...

go to Mio Support and see if the C210 can even accept US maps. ALso, check ebay for cd with map restore or "Transmit Map' to blank 2 GB sd card.

Sat nav maps/gps not working on MIo 268+

Turn the device off( from the back button) press volume up and the flag button( third from the right) in the same time and power on the device. Keep pressed the two buttons untill a screen shows . Press ok and then another ok. Then restart the device. This will do it
