Both are hi powered, approx 140 to 150 watts, radios that need about 14 amps of power to be safe, watts divided by volts=amps needed.if you want to plug and talk i suggest something 80 watts or less.

I have a galaxy dx48t it has no calibrate on the SWR meter, how do I check my SWR?

Best way to check your SWR is with a separate SWR meter installed between the radio and the antenna. Be sure to check the input and output sides of the meter. With the meter in-place, key up your radio and adjust your antenna for max output / minimum loss. This may require that you change the length of your antenna and repair any questionable connections. Also, be mindful of the fact that CB radios broadcast in AM. That means your antenna should be well grounded to your vehicle. AM radios rely on "ground plane" antennas, which means that your entire vehicle (with good grounding) becomes apart of the antenna system. Hope this helps.

Galaxy DX-48T why does the meter show receive but unit has no sound ?

is it on CB not pa. Is the squelch all the way to the left and the RF gain all the way to the right, and the AF power wide open.Do you have the volume up.If you answered yes to all these thenyour internal speaker isn't connected or its no good.Is your external speaker plugged into the ext or pa connection?

I have a 2001 Specialized StumpJumper FSR XC and have put a new chain wheel on 48t and I'm struggling to find a front deriailleur that fits any help please?

Clamp on front mech xt or xtr would be an option, be careful if you need bottom pull or top, cut or grind off bracket on old front mech to reinstall,as this is a spacer as well as a mounting bracket ,bit old school but older front mechs are best

M2amx motherboard

The only issue you have is locating a new motherboard and making sure it works with the 5200 processor. There are literally 100's of motherboards that will do just that. INTEL, ASUS and even AMD make some to name a few manufacturers. Your best best is to look on their sites and locate the motherboard you like that meets your needs then look on dealer sites to locate the best price and have it shipped. Best buy, Office max, Tiger Direct are just a few of the stores that will ship the product and most have on-line live chat options so you can be sure. Make sure you match the RAM capability and Hard Drive connections to the products you currently have. For instance, if your current system uses DDR ram make sure the new board does as well.
