I bought a ceramic cooktop range about two months ago. And I LOVE IT!! Although, the other night I was boiling chicken, and it boiled over, and I couldn't get the stain off the burner...I was heartbroken because I thought it would never come out. Then I remembered that when I bought the CeramaBryte product to clean and protect the cooktop, it came with a razor-blade type scraper and a scrubbing sponge (only for use on the cooktop). The razor didn't work, so I put just a small amount of the CeramaBryte and used the scrubber, wiped in small circles with a paper towel and buffed it out with a clean soft cloth, and VOILA!! It looks just like it did the day I bought it. If you don't have the ceramic cleaner (like the CeramaBryte), go to your local Home Depot or Lowe's and ask them about it. Everything you need will be right there!

Grease-encrusted cast iron trivets

Try soaking in hot soapy water that you've dropped several denture cleaning tablets in. That's helped me get some tough stuff off, or at least loosened up enough that some elbow grease and a scrubbie can finish off the job.

Put them in the oven and run the self clean cycle

Oven cleaner. That stuff is second only to industrial grade hydrogen peroxide

Batender's Friend. That stuff is amazing!

My soup spilled over on to my whirlpool ceran cooktop and i cant get the stains off. Is there a way to do it?

Is this a ceramic hob? If it is, you will need a ceramic hob cleaner (john lewis does one) OR Astonish oven/pan cleaner, a non-scratch washing-up sponge and a fair amount of elbow grease. This works for me.

Dish towel stuck to ceramic cooktop

When they are really bad, I use a razor blade in one of those scraper holders. Finally a green scrubby with some comet....Once finished polish it with a very good cooktop cleaner and you will be looking good as new.... If I can help further, I am here.

Waiting to hear from you,

Cleaning glass cooktop

Hi, Any good glass/ceramic cooktop cleaner will do the job. Any grease spots or burned food spots can be scraped off with a razor scraper ( just keep it flat ) Use a couple of paper towels and put a dime sized drop of the cleaner on each burner and with a circular motion buff the top like you would wax a car, when cleaned up, flip the towels over and buff to a shine. I don't endorse any products but there are some that contain everything you need, cleaner , scraper, cloth like Ceramabrite. They can be found at most grocery, diy and some hardware stores. Good Luck!

I have a new Jenn-air ceramic cooktop- what do I do to clean it.

Greases lightning is a great cleaner for cooktops and work great on the grease filter it is sold at most stores. Be careful however when cleaning around the control knobs. They do have a rubber dust cover over each switch but if any fluid drips past it and into the switch it could short out the control.

I don't know how to clean my electric range. When something gets on the surface and it's hot, it leaves a stain that i can't get rid of

buy a ceramic cooktop cleaner, available pretty much any where form the appliance dealer to the supermarket, its the best thing for it. . for really stubborn stains you can scrape with a razor blade. after applying the cleaner
