There is universal 2 cycle oil available (pro-mix at Lowe's for example) that is good for all ratios from 16:1 to 50:1. With this oil you add the same amount of oil to the gas independent of ratio required. One gas can, no ratio worries. Hope this helps.

What is fuel mixture on 25 cc craftsman weedwacker

This small engine needs a 40:1 ratio. Use only 2 cycle oil, not motor oil. If you are mixing one gallon of fuel use 3.2 ounces of the 2 cycle oil. This should give correct mixture so you do not get lots of smoke when you start. Take the time to measure. Note: there should be a marking somewhere on the engine about the mixture.

Engine on powerwasher starts but quits running after approx 10 seconds. Engine oil changed, oil is full & tried choke in various positions. Also has fresh fuel in tank. What else can I do

try cleaning the carb that ethanol plays havoc on these small engines if it is not a premix oil and gas unit add a little 2 cycle engine oil to the gas will keep the carbon builup to a minimum not to much it will gunk up your spark plug take the carb apart and clean it with carb cleaner or deisellet dry check your spark plug make sure it is clean and ok that is where I would start

Started by Craftsman 2700 PSI , 2.3 GPM Briggs & Stratton Powered Pressure Washer for first time in 9 months. Added new oil, and gas. started but is smoking from muffler and is dripping what appears to...

The first thing I would check would be the oil level, to make sure you didn't put in too much oil. If the oil level is correct, it could be a stuck piston ring, letting oil blow by the piston, and out the exhaust. If this is the case, you are going to have to tear down the engine.

Hope this helps!

Have a honda 5.0 hp engine on a pressure washer model belive is a de 1504 not sure of make, starts if you use starting fluid but then dies, getting gas to the bowl at botttom of carb but not to carburator

Hi there mburns44 i believe your problem is either that either the Air/Fuel mixture is too rich and causing it to flood or you have clogged jets. carburators are tricky and often times need to be cleaned or adjusted by a professional. I hope that this helps :)

I would like to know if this pressure wahser use only gas or (Gas and Oil) is mixed?

352edb9.jpg

If your engine has a place to put oil, then your power washer uses ordinary gasoline.
The only type engine that uses 2-cycle oil and gas mixture is engine that has no place to put oil.

Oil for pump comes half way up >>> pump uses SAE20 or SAE 30 non-detergent motor oil
Oil for engine comes half way up dip stick and uses 10-W30 motor oil

I have briggs and stratton powered mower with the 18.5 v-twin ohv intek engine modle 407777 type 0121-E5 CODE 000512ZYG MY PROBLEM IS THAT MY CRANKCASE IS FULL OFA GAS OIL MIXTURE THE OIL FILTER ALSO...

When the float in the carb sticks, it allows fuel to drain into the cylinder, that runs pass the rings into the crankcase. When the crankcase is full the pistons cannot go down, and the starter won't turn the engine. Drain all the oil gas mixture, and refill with proper oil. Replace float, needle and seat in the carb bowl. Throughly clean fuel passages, and bowl. If motor won't turn, remove spark plug and turn over engine a few times to remove gas oil mixture from the cylinder too.

Can i use any 2 stroke oil

An electric chainsaw does not require 2 stroke oil. This oil is only used for gas/oil mixtures for gas powered chainsaw. Chain oil should be used (or even transmission oil) to lubricate the chain.
