+Connect it to your computer via a usb cable, click on the relative disc and find your music. Then you just add or delete to your hearts content, remembering to use the safe release mode when disconnecting it from the computer.
1) Disconnect from computer, turn it off, hold in volume + button and reconnect it to your computer - continue holding volume + until the Found Hardware Wizard comes up. 2)
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your iLo player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "ILO 2GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and give you a fresh start.
Hi,
if you havn't sorted it yet, i have just had to set 1 of these up for someone, you need to make sure the player is turned on and the hour glass has gone so your looking at the select screen before you connect the usb cable to the mp3 player, then you can just drag and drop the files directly onto the drive,
Hope this Helps
Ash
PS. If your instruction manual is anything like the 1 i had to work with its really not helpful at all.
Right-click on the Start button. Click properties. While in the Start Menu tab click on Customize... button. Under Start Menu items, scroll to the bottom of the list and click the Display on the All Programs and Start Menu under System Administration Tools.
Now, click ok to finish these two windows you have open.
Click Start,
Click Administrative Tools,
Click Computer Management.
Now on the left side there will be System Tools, Storage, Services and Applications. We want to use Disk Management to see what drive letter is assigned to your mp3 player.
If you see a drive that does not have a letter assigned to it. Right click on the drive and pick Change Drive Letter and Paths...
Assign it any letter that you like (that isn't already used by another drive on this list,) and you should be able to view your files to add or remove just like another drive.
Most common reasons for this happening are... You are connected to a network that assigns drive letters to remote drives, or you have usb devices (like card readers) on your computer that have been assigned the letter that your mp3 player wants to call itself.
Please let me know if this helped you fix your problem.
ummm did you FIRST install the drivers? I have one, and you FIRST have to install the drivers, some MP3s are already supported by windows by default, but this ones requires it's own drivers!
Go to My Computer IlO or name of player music and
copy/paste your files in that directory
My Computer/ILO/Music/
Do not use Media player and do it manually and it should work (any computer)
