you have probably knocked sensor out of position at the paper feed in area. To check you will need to remove the paper tray completly from machine, then tilt machine up in front and look where paper is fed in there should be like a black flag in that area. it is the sensor that tells machine there is paper.
Firstly, I have to ask......the paper is installed, and tray set correctly? Does it read the proper size on the display of the copier? Ok....next, do you have the optional paper trays installed (3 & 4)? Is that where the 11 x 17 paper is? Then you probably did not add the accessories when you installed the driver and when printing that paper is unavailable. right click your printer icon, click "properties", then i think it's under the "accessories" , or "options" button....select the optional trays, and anything else you may have. click 'ok' ...should work.
It needs to be added within the printer driver. In The Printers/faxes dialog box, "right click" the "Aficio 1013F", click "properties" click the "accessories" (or "change accessories") button, and add tray 2 as an option, Click "apply", and exit the utility, now you can manually select tray 2 when printing.
You should just be able to place paper on the tray and then select the bypass tray under "properties", "Paper", then under "tray" select "bypass tray" when printing.
no there isn't any way to override it you might try the bypass tray.It might work.you have to be very careful with installing and removeing the paper tray when you do get it fixed.
