My samsung YP-K3 2 GB couldn't turn on any more, it always locked.
Without any reason...i can just press the "reset" button to trun it off before, but for now i can't really turn it on, the screen was showing that it's locked.
how can i solved this, plz help
Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the Samsung's website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.
I had exactly the same problem... it all seemed to be fine when connected to a PC i.e. could upload songs, battery charged & seemed fine etc. but when i tried to use away from the computer it kept showing the locked icon & NOTHING (using a pin to
reset the player @ the back, updating the firmware etc) made any difference...
I was just about to throw it in the bin and then i thought "hold on what it it's a purely mechanical problem? So i got a very small flathead screwdriver & gently open the unit up a bit (not fully, it looked like that might break internal connectors...) on the side where the hold button was. Took a bit of messing about - initially the hold button didn't work at all - re-jogged it and... ta-da!!!! It works fine now. I believe the hold button mechanism had simply lost it's footing with the internal contacts or something.
Anyway the player now looks a little battered - can't seal it properly - but at least it now works again, which is better than what was going to happen to it otherwise...
So, a bit risky (it might not work for you...) but better than just throwing it away - until this had happened i really liked my YP-K3 - now i'm not quite so keen on it but all the same it still works fine!
Hope this works for you, though i would suggest the other solutions prior to my one!
