There is a loud hum when volume is on low to high

There is a loud hum in both speakers even when volume is on low and static noise when volume is adjusted. The hum gets louder as the volume on speakers is turned up. This is ocuring with no music or sound playing through the speakers. Noticed it when I walked into the room and heard the loud hum that wasn't there an hour ago.

I have a 42 inch Hitachi plasma tv that is making a very loud static noice coming from the internal speakers. It stays at a contstant very loud volume unless I completly mute the tv or turn the volum

Based on what you have tried if a buzz or loud static via the speakers you have something wrong in the audio output circuit of the set--problem here is that circuit may be part of the Main board that processes all signal---a look inside---following the speaker leads back would lead you to that board.

A simple thing to do to narrow it a little (you may have done this) is with sound all the way off put your ear to the internal speaker--hear anything at all like a deep hum?

Depending on age of set and cost of the board likely bad it may or may not be a do it yourself repair.

I have a pair of JM lab Electra 905 speakers, running through a DNM amp and power amps. When powered up, the left speaker makes a very loud humming noise. This has happened recently. I haven't changed...

Hello
Switch on your amp, keep its volue down to extreme low, and listen if there is still hum through the left channel or not. If still there is hum, the left side power amplifier section inside the amp;ifier is faulty. If htere is no hum at this state, hum enters thorugh the audio input terminal, and the input wires must be checked for open sheild connection. OK.

LOUD BUZZING/HUMMING SOUND- CAN HEAR OVER AUDIO

have someone check speaker ground to the TV chassis. Your speakers are picking up reverb from the Video Signal.

They are makeing a constant sharp noise a loud high pitched hum if you will

Right-click on the speaker icon in the lower right of your screen and choose Open Volume Control and check all volume levels (make sure they are not set to high). If this doesnt work then when you right-click, choose Adjust Audio Properties and search around for volume controls (maybe try the Speaker Volume button).

Humming noise from all 5 speakers!

check the type of cable you are using. low end cable lets in a lot of static and distortion, if I were you I would look into some higher end cable.
I find 9 times out of 10 with situations like yours the cabling usually is the culprit.

Loud hum with static when speakers turned on

There is def. a loose connection somewhere in your system. This is a grounding problem within the system if nothing else. Def. a "lazy" connection somewhere.

Scratching (static) noise coming from computer speakers

I foudn this in anther forum:
I have an ASUS motherboard P5E3 Premium. The audio that came with it was the Sound Max audio. I also noticed abnormal sounds coming from the speakers. They included sounds during hard drive activity and also with mouse movement. They were not loud but noticable. I searched all over the web but didn't find the answer. I stumbled across the fix myself. I also have vista-64. In the sound control panel > speaker properties > levels... there is a pc beep slide bar. I noticed that if it is disabled then the abnormal sound went away completely. Problem solved. Hope this helps.

Popping & hardly any volume

i had the first problem and you can probably fix it by turning the volume knob all the way up and down about 20 times. it worked for me. supposedly the potentiometers in the z-5300 get dirty or worn out, somehow this might fix it. for the second problem maybe try plugging it into the laptop and unplugging it again seeing if it goes back to normal?maybe its a problem with the amp?
