Capresso C1500 My machine got into this problem where it signals for: "Water cycle needed" but no water will get out but I can here the pump working. I opened it to check the final output hose to check for clogs but its open and dry. I replaced the water filter and even tried without it with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks, Ronen.

You need to let water run through the system. What has happened is the heating unit has dried out. Treat the machine as if you just took it out of the box...(check your directions for the steps) basically all you need do is fill with water, turn the water nozzle on and let it run a bit. Water will refill the heating unit as it runs through. That will fix the problem and you'll be back in business.

SOURCE: Capresso C1500 "Water cycle needed" Problem

Hello, I know it's been a while since you asked the question, but I ran ito the same problem this morning. I got so frustrated that I vigorously wiggled the knob from 0 to hot water, back and forth, until it sounded like the "normal" water flow sound. And voila, it works again!

I'm working on the same problem, I need someone who reads technical swiss-german to help. There is a pump on the bottom right that drives cold water into the boiler. The connector on the bottom of the boiler (brass to vinyl plastic) came apart on mine. On a german language expresso maker website there are several parts that address this problem, the difficulty I'm having is figuring out which part fits tthe boiler I have as apparently this is a problem on serveral version and there have been re-designed connectors (mine doesn't look exactly like the one in the picture

Have an Impressa S Avantgarde Series that will not fill with water. The unit has not been used for about a year

The Operating Instructions for your machine can be found here:

http://www.capresso.com/pdf/inst_s9a.pdf

Are you getting any Error Messages? Refer to the Troubleshooting Error Messages on page 30.

Is the low water flotation device in place and working?

Suggest you walk through the instructions for Preparing the Machine for the First Time on page 11.

Pay special attention to the water filter cartridge as I suspect this will need replacing, page 18 & 19.

You may also need to run a decalcification cycle, page 28, to make sure deposits have not plugged the machine.

There is a Quick Reference Guide available for your machine which you may also find helfpul:

I have a jura capresso S7. I am finding water in

This is normal, after each cycle the brew unit will empty the drainvalve for excess water, this will ensure that the water used for each new cup is fresh from the watertank.

Capresso C1300 LCD stays on stating "Hot water cycle necessary"

I had one that set for 6 months that had that problem. Air had gotten into the water lines. Opened the hot water tap a few times and then removed the end of the water line that runs from the solenoid to heater block to at the solenoid end to bleed air out. It could also have been some calcium deposits that blew out with the air blocking the line. Then I replaced the end of the line, powered the machine up and it worked normally. Note: Jura Capresso and Capresso machines are complicated and it takes some mechanical know how to open them up and service them. They also have four special screws on the back that requires a special tool to open
