I have a Honda gc160 5.0 pressure washer. All fluids are fresh. Water is hooked up with plenty of pressure but the water pressure is up and down then goes completely out. No water will come out of the wand? Please advise. Thank you.

pour liquid TSP into the fresh water port (where the garden hose connects) and let it sit there for a couple of days.
This will clean all the calcium and lime deposits within the pump.
This is how I fixed my pressure problem.Hope it works for you.
With the engine turned off, pour liquid TSP into the fresh water inlet until it comes out the other end at first just water that is already within the pump will come out but make sure you put enough TSP that it starts to come out the wand outlet. Then, let it sit for 48 hours and don't run it at all. This is how I fixed my no pressure problem [email protected] owner of Honda 5.5 with Comet pressure washer pump
Check the Water supply, make sure there is plenty of pressure comming from the hose hookup. Use 3/4" dia. hose to the pressure washer. Check the Inlet Screen on unit to make sure it is not clogged. Hoses are free of kinks. I hope that the information given is helpful, please rate on its helpfulness. Good Luck and have a great day. Jeff
Sounds like the governor is stuck. My pressure washer speeds up when it has to pump. Don't know if yours uses vacuum to trigger governor or direct linkage. Good Luck.
