Traction Belt (new) continues to slip off of drive plate.

I have a Toro Snowblower Model#38620 (826LE). Last winter the Traction belt(94-8812) kept slipping off of the pulley-impeller when under load so I replaced both belts which were worn. I purchased from a Toro dealer including the Auger belt (#106-4498). The traction belt continues to slip off underload. The traction cables are adjuster correctly. Can you help me?

Sounds like you may need to replace the pulley as well. It has likely worn out of specification.

I recommend that you contact your nearest authorized service center, or contact Toro directly for assistance.

My Toro 20332 started to squeal at the end of last season when I engaged the self-propel. I replaced the drive belt last week, thinking it was loose and worn, now it really squeals. Any thoughts?

The belt is slipping and that causes the squeal. If it squeals with a new belt, it is indicative that something is not turning freely, causing the belt to slip.

Have a toro 2450 5 hp snowblower used to throw snow at least 8ft now lucky to go 1ft changed belt last year thought that was problem but didn't fix the problem any suggestions? Thank you

Just a thought. Is the belt tight or does it slip when you put pressure on it. Check and see if the impeller outfit is plugged. Mine did that and it was plugged with an old shirt I picked up in the snow. Can you turn the impeller by hand when the engine is shut down. If so could be a shear pin broke off in the impeller.

I have a toro ccr 2450 snowblower. i bought it

No if your belt is shredding there is something rubbing on the belt. Check the idler/tightner pulley see if it spins freely. Check make sure nothing but the pulleys are touching the belt when it is engaged.
