Your drain pan is not draining. Use a wet vac to **** the drain line from the outside. This will pull out the blockage and you're back in business. Do not blow compressed air into the drain. This pushes the blockage back up into the drain pan.

Why? Because as the air passes over the coil and is cooled, the humidity in the air condenses and drains into the drain pan. When the drain line or pan gets clogged, it no longer drains to the outside. That causes the pan to overflow, and drip into the house.

How to fix it? You will need to locate the drain line and remove the clog. This is easiest done with a wet/dry shop vacuum.

My electrolux split system air conditioners (ese30hra) only operates on high speed. What could be the problem and what could I do to fixit.

The air conditioner removes humidity when it's operating. This is where the water is coming from. Proper installation requires the unit to be tilted slightly down in the back so condensate will be picked up by the outside fan and be dispersed. The fan speed problem can be either a bad speed control relay or a possible open winding in the motor itself.

Air conditioner leaked a lot of fluid that looked like water after being on all night. Do you think this is an easy fix, or what do you think is wrong with it? Thanks

All air conditioning units have built in drains. When the drain is clogged the water fills the drip pain and spills out. An easy fix is to open you unit and just wipe the drains. If you cannot find the drain find where the water is coming from and trace the water to the source. The other possibility is that the unit has a dehumidifier that is not properly sealed and it is leaking the water it collects if so find the dehumidifier (usually labeled) and pull the cover off clean the seal and put cover back on (may snap into place) and see what happens the next day.

HI saidijohn,

If you have dropped your mobile in water, then i am afraid even if you get it fixed it would be too expensive.

I suggest for you to buy a new one.

I hope this helps.

Maytag Air Conditioner NMPEB08F2A

IF there is a lot of water, the float switch probably tripped. Happened to me, the water motor failed. When this happens there is no water blown up into the evaporator coils and it just accumulates.. and trips the float sensor. 2 problems with replacing the water motor. I can't get the part easily, and you have to remove all the plastic shrouding and drop the bottom out to get to it. (Steve)
