I have a lg vu i bought used worked good then son messed with security now says puk blocked any info appreciated thanks

Inorder tosolve your PUK problem, *kindly contact your service provider *Tell your phone number and they will give your PUK code *Enter that code on your cell phone(that ask puk code) *Then your phone ask another pin code&to verify,there you can type your desired code(say 0000,00000,1234,12345). * Then your phone will restart normally.... Call att, cause sim is locked and follow instructions

The PUK # will be provided by your the SIM Service provider. Contact the service provider (SIM) to get the PUK code.

call whatever network you have and tell them and theyll tell you the code to put in and there you go

Update Ur phone software (Take a back up if possible through PC)

dont keep pnching in codes you will trash sim card. call att and they will give it to you. probably need boyfriends info. if you dont know you will have to tell him.

A PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) is the code required for enabling/unlocking a sim card. This disabling/lock is a result of erroneously entering the PIN (Personal Identification Number) multiple times. Depending on the SIM card issuer, erroneously entering the PUK code multiple times would result to a permanently blocked/disabled SIM card. The PUK code is an OTW (one time write) only and therefore the only way to open the card is with the PUK code.

In all instances, it has nothing to do with the phone itself but with the SIM card, hence, the LG Vu CU920 would still work with another SIM card.

Call your phone company back, they are the last resort now. If not, you bought it off ebay-it probably messed up...

Hi if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times, you can't enter it anymore, time to call your service provider for instructions or possibly replacement sim card. I've explained more on this page http://www.bukisa.com/articles/19406_puk-code
